They also like to take baths more than sex

I would hope they take precisely double the amount of baths as to sexual encounters. Idealy at least.

Well, gaming has the advantage of not requiring a partner whom I find attractive, who's not a total bastard and won't give me an std. So I can sort of understand this

Kidding. Actually that's a bit frightening, although I suppose the old "good women shouldn't enjoy sex" commandment plays part in these results. Then again, I'm not exactly what you might call average example.

I think this survey is *skewed by a poorly identified "preference".


For instance I think most males might come up with similar responses if they identified with "preference" in a similar manner.

..on the other **hand what male (gamer) wouldn't prefer sex to just about anything else when they really wanted it? Or said differently - assuming that a male had just had sex, just how much are they going to want it again - immediately? And immediately after that? And immediately after that? etc. (.. when compared to other activities including gaming). Just how much time will they spend with sex (actual sex, not the opportunity for it), compared to gaming?

The truth probably is, most (75%) girl gamers prefer games to sex because they can't get sex in the first place!

Truer words were never spoken. The possible exception is that their pasty basement dwelling partner isn't doing it right.

I hope not! That survey is obviously wrong. Ill admit games are really fun and enjoyable but games dont stand a chance if sex is involved

Games make me feel empowered....sex, makes me feel sad.

Malcolm Gladwell (in his book Outliers) has said that anything you've spent 10,000 hours at, you can consider to have mastered. For most of us around here, that's gaming; for a very few of us, that's sex.

I don't mean to dis the female gaming crowd but... does anyone else take these with a bit of salt?

I am not saying women do not play games, I am not saying a large amount do not play games. I AM saying I don't believe as many play as men.

Also, the percentages on this confuse me, since they don't add up to 100%. Does that mean 30% of women that bought doritos and took this survey do not like having sex? 25% don't like taking baths?

Also, I'd bet money that the person in the third picture is not what people would call an avid gamer.

Okay, I am ragging on it a little bit, but this is a pointless survey on the same lines as telling us that tons of celebrities play WoW. I don't really believe it, and if it was even slightly true then it doesn't make any difference anyway...
