It depends what you like. A large part of the game is choosing and customizing a party. There is a story, but it is not awesome rather a device to meet and fight enemies. Some amount of fantasy in monsters. It looks pretty nice I liked the music and scenes quite a bit. It is nothing like either the original campaign or mask of the betrayer. The campanions are not fleshed out too much. A big part of the game is exploring the overland map, but it is not exploration like a three dimensional adventure game such as oblivion. Instead you 'drive' an icon around the map and when you get close to a special thing or location it appears to you and some things you pick up some are locations to go to. None of the locations are that awesome but they aren't horrible iirc either. On the map if you have scout ability spot or listen you see monsters roaming around kinda icons. A number tells how powerful they are so you know to hide from them or if they are too weak a waste of time. I think most people fight a lot of these monsters to gain levels, I did. I was interested in the game the first map, but I got bogged down kinda in the second part.

I'm not sure if its your thing but I think the creators had guts to implement the overland map which was a real novel idea. I did see things like that in zelda the adventures of link in 1980s I think.

Thanks.
I may put it on the back burner for a while.
I have a few games sitting on my desk staring a me that I've had for a while waiting for all the bugs to get ironed out.

The Witcher
Dragon Age Orgins
Fallout New Vegas.

Guess I'll start with the oldest and work my way up.

Thanks again
