Vivaldi Bank

i played witcher once b4 along time ago but never used the walk through and i coulda swore that there was a mention somewhere about being able to get the bank back to vivaldi but when i checked most of the walk through i couldnt find it so i was wondering if there is a quest about getting the bank back to the dwarf or if not why put that in the game at all

Having played through the game on all three paths, I don't think this is possible. The seizing of his holdings is somewhat significant to the story as well, as the money is used to fund the Order of the Flaming Rose's wareffort.

Why put it in the game? It's relevant to one of the big plot choices in Chapter III, when the Scoiatel break into the bank to reclaim the money for nonhumans and you have to decide who to help.
