Okay so I searched the forum and there wasn't a problem that was close enough to what I'm going through.

I borrowed oblivion off a friend since he told me it was such a good game, so I popped it in and it just doesn't do anything. I hear it spinning and my arrow does the loading symbol and the reading Cd symbol, but it just does that over and over again. I don't know what the problem is.

anyone gone through the same thing?

Few arbitrary and dumb questions to get out of the way (dumb as they may be, more often than not it's the case).


Are you putting it in a CD drive or a DVD drive?
Is the copy of Oblivion Windows based or Xbox 360/PS3 based?
Have you tried Rebooting?
Have you tried cleaning the disc?
Have you tried using a different drive or different computer?
