I'm looking for 2 players that want to play 4e with maptools and use skype or ventrilo to communicate. I will be teaching new members that have never used maptools,or played 4e.The only requirement is that we have a way to talk,prefered skype,so if you reply please put your skype name so I can get you set up.I have a group of lvl 2 right now but its at the beginning of their adventure,and some of them are new,so no biggy if you are.I use a awesome framework that allows players to move tokens on a map and have there powers and stats tracked when hitting macros.The version of maptools is b.76 and I can setup everything you will need once we have a form of communication, and maybe 15 min later you will be connected to my server where 30 min later you will have a understanding of how awesome this will be

What is the premise of the adventure, campaign setting, starting gold, allowable books, and what party roles have been filled? I have the urge to play a striker or leader but I'm cool with Controller as well (I'd rather not go defender, I've got a thri-kreen battlemind as it is in my brother's dark sun game)

EDIT: Friend of mine would be willing to join too maybe, not quite sure yet but it's entirely possible you have your two slots filled.

I have dmed a lot of games and typed a lot of what you just asked, and normally would have put a huge paragraph with all the specs,which I have a lot of times and I find that if people give there skype name then, a lot can be said in a few words,if you know what I mean.Yes you and your friend are welcome and right now this post is new so who knows it probably won't be long before it fills up.
1.Forgotten realms, starting areas are my own then I can incorporate modules and bring in the campaign setting book as well when we become more significant,lol.
2.Starting gold is what you have left after you equip your character etc.
Oops now I forgot all that you said in your post,well all I know is the current members can't wait to play Sunday and there hoping as well as I, that we get 2 serious people that love to play dnd, don't worry about knowing the game,think of it like starting a new video game before you know it, you'll be comfortable and editing your own token like a couple of my players do now.

Oh I am already quite familiar with maptools, skype and all of 4th edition (I've played 3rd and 3.5 editions for about 10 or 11 years now, and 4th edition for over a year and a half).

Right now, all I need to know are the party roles filled. If you're unsure, then just tell me the classes. I know most class roles by memory.

I'm looking for someone to take over a wizard and a rogue class lvl 2.I have existing tokens already,or if you need your own,then I guess I could make a new token.

I may have to decline this one then.

I'm not interested in either a rogue or a wizard and I just saw your time slot as well, and that's when I game in a different 4th-edition game.
