SPOLIER Going the Way of Kings Quest - Bugged

I just finished all the parts of the quest and went back to Isaac. He told me that next time I come by I'll get a gift and hopefully end the quest. However, when I left and came back, he gave me a new quest, to slay a Gargoyle, so I did. And now he's got nothing to say to me and the Way of Kings quest is still unfinished. Any advice ?

Ok, This is a known, somewhat bug. What you should have done, and this is the order, is when you get back from the Way of the Kings, was to leave after you talked to Isaac, then go right back in, and talk to him again. This may have triggered the ending to the the quest. I don't recall 100% right this moment, but that seems how to finish the quest. The gargoyle, there are a few ways to deal with it. I suggest reading about that particular quest before taking it on.
