There is one.
Regis, a halfling thief that is arm with a mace and have a pendent that can charm (as charm spell.
There is another connected with Alias that is also a thief but that one trys to be a bard (she is not, she can use a harp but since halflings cannot use spells and Bards can cast wizard spells...) but I dont remenber her name (Olive....I think thats it that or is in the name....)

Yes, Regis is the halfling in Drizzt's party. The party I whomped on

It was a bit of a stretch on my true neutral alignment, but it was well worth it

Are you serious Craig?!

Tasslehof is one of the coolest characters in any of TSR book series! He is Dragon Lance, and is a Kender (Kyrnn's version of Halflings). He is one of the funniest characters, and also one of the most interesting.

The halfling our friend Drakon Du'Dark is referring to is Olive Ruskettle who appeared in Curse of the Azure Bonds as the sidekick to the clone Alias and her saurial paladin protector, Dragonbait.
If you looking for the halfling equivalent to Ah-nold or Sir Lancelot, you won't find one; halflings weren't built for knockdown, drag-out fights. They also don't come in the tall, dark and handsome mold, so you won't see too many authors make them the central protagonists in their stories.
After all, how great is the image of a knight in his shining full plate armour, a two-handed sword on his belt, and a long lance sitting atop his war-horse? Put a halfling in the knight's place and you've got Prince Farquaad from Shrek. Not too heroic, huh?
Olive did manage to help Dragonbait defeat the red dragon Mistinarperadnacles Hai Draco in a Feint of Honor (subdual from the old AD&D rules), but that's about as close to a kicking butt in a stand-up fight you'll see a halfling get. Even Regis's combat victories have tended to be underhanded or while using the Ruby Pendant to distract his opponent.

Dont call Alias a clone since she is a magical created women.
(long story, very long story, its the novel)
She have 17 in all scores.

Well haflings are naturally born theives. Its a natural talent. I'm sure there could be a halfing hero, but they are too lazy. All they do is eat and pickpocket a clusmy human now and then.

Craig, somehow a halfling dual-wielding slings just doesn't have the same ring ro it. Even if he/she is never morally wrong and has no flaws, just like Drizzt.
Halflings are different and don't seem to have the same kind of heroes as the tall folk. Their heroes are like Bilbo Baggins and Tasslehoff Burrfoot. Wasn't there a kender general who rallied the forces of Kendermore against the forces of evil in the Dragonlance novels? Somebody help me out.
Actually, one of my favorite all time CRPG characters is a halfling female fighter in IWD named Devannah Wanderstaff. She uses a shortsword or bow, her AC is great and her saves are awesome! She rocks!

Kronin Thistleknot (spelling may be a little off), but I don't know if killing Fewmaster Toede really counts as "rallying against the forces of evil." Remember the Dragon Highlords wanted Kendermore about as much as the Knights of Solamnia did.
