Hello, I guess this will be my first introductory thread. If there is one here. I've been unemployed since May. I've been looking working for work since then, but in my spare time. I play RPGs. Since they are the only type the games that I can sit for a long time, so I decided to create the Unemployed RPG collection. By the way, I don't have a great machine anymore. I am stuck with a 360 for now.
I've started with Two Worlds. It was on sale at Gamestop with a 50% off deal, so I picked it up for three bucks. After playing it for two weeks with a total of 19 hrs and 58 mins. I feel sorry for those who paid 60 bucks for this thing. It was just 10% main question & 90% side quests. Oh my god the voice acting.
I would recommend for those who want achievements or an RPG for the cheep. The game is not bad if it's under 10 bucks since the game was like developed for the 10 dollar racks at Target.
Now my next game?
Might and Magic: Dark Messiah Elements for the 360. I've heard it's rated worse than Two Worlds.

People make mistakes either through impulse buys, poor research or mislead by the advertising of the game. One should hope that they have learnt their lesson and exercise better judgement when buying something.
As for Two Worlds, I did play the demo of the game myself and I didn't find it good. Avoided it as a result. I did not regret it one bit. And yes, I agree with you on the voice acting. Two words: It's bad.

I was planning on buying this game because I thought it looked a bit like Oblivion, which interested me.
So I picked it up and went to buy it, and the GameStop employee at the desk literally said to me: "Do not buy it," and then explained it was a terrible, terrible game.
So I got Mass Effect instead. Didn't regret that choice!

If Two Wolds is less than 5 bucks. I still recommend just trying it. It has great side quests.
This is my unemployment collection:
Two Worlds - DONE
Might and Magic: Dark Messiah- Just started
Sacred 2
Risen (Once it drops too a good used price. 49 bucks is a bit too high for a used game.)
BTW my first 30 mins of the game playing as a warrior class. Graphically it is great even on a non HD TV. I have a Sanyo Tube TV with component inputs. Once you get the fighting correctly. It is great. The voice acting is good better than Two Worlds but not as great as Oblivion. For voice acting I use Mass Effect as my high point for voice acting.
A big downside of the game as of now that is the auto leveling. What happen too the leveling ideals in the PC version. I loved mixing classes, but for the Xbox you cant.

Oh boy, I thought I wasn't going to say this. Might and Magic: Dark Messiah is worse than Two Worlds. I was a bit enjoying my self in Two Worlds. Might and Magic. Well....

Dark Messiah is not really Might & Magic. It just has Might & Magic on the title for sales. I'd call Dark Messiah the Adventures of Sir Kicks a Lot. There has been no RPG release from Ubisoft which holds the M&M license.
In regards to your unemployment, I'm in the same boat but have been out since March. I've almost reached my six month personal deadline before I expand into other areas that can also use my skills and multiple employer awards.

Two worlds is one of the ****tiest and most disappointing games ever. Dark messiah however was a lot of fun. Kick was over powered, but I restricted myself not to use it.

Yay for you, man. Sure wish more people had that good news.
I gotta admit, for the price, I found, ( Actually find, since I'm playing the game now, only I've handicapped myself so that even at level 60, I can die really fast.) that the game was fun and really pretty on screen. I was not impressed with Oblivion, though the quests and voice acting are far superior to TW. I have spent loads more for a lot less enjoyment, though my ultimate cheap thrills experience is still Morrowind/both expansions, which kept me going for months on end.
I am referring to Two Worlds. Sorry for the mangled reply.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is an excellent first person melee combat game. It's not an RPG, but saying what you're saying here is ridiculous.
