Ok imoen is at 160,000 and i have:
90 for lock picking
80 stealth with the shoes
90 for finding traps
60 for pick pocketing.
Now this is the last level and i am at durlags tower.
Should i bump up lock picking and traps to 100 or should i push up the pick pocketing.
I can't remember if i need to pick pocket anyone in Baldur's gate.
So an quick advice would help out.

Lockpicking and traps are IMO more important.
If you need to pick some pockets - use poitions.

Drizzt comes to mind... Though he is not in Baldur's Gate
city, if that's what you meant.

There is a dwarf (I think) in Ulgoth's Beard, who has Ring of Free Action. I'm not sure about his name, but he's standing close to where you first arrive.

Boost trap-finding and stealth. You find tons of Potions of Master Thievery in Durlag's Tower that help out with lock-picking and pick-pocketing.

Good advice from Sojourner.
People that I pickpocket:
Those guys that Silke wants you to kill. Each one has a potion of defense and then you get another when you talk to the head guy after killing Silke for a total of 4.
Gazib (the Oopah mage). He has a couple of scrolls that are useful when you're young and broke.
The guy who has the scroll of stone to flesh for restoring Branwen. I'll be damned if I'll pay for the thing.
Drizz't, cause I'm not above stealing from him, although I won't kill him for roleplay reasons.
Shandalar (Ulgoth's Beard) cause he has alot of scrolls and a couple of potions of heroism.

...Algernon, at Feldepost's Inn in Beregost: His cloak (with virtually unlimited charm person charges)
Proprietor of Sorcerous Sundries: Nymph cloak (not as good as Algernon's, but worth decent money)
High priestess at Umberlee's temple: You can pickpocket the kid's body and the Scroll of Geas reversal from her

How could I forget? Most unbalanced item in the game, IMO.

Sojourner, how could I forget Algernon's cloak? LOL, oh well, it's been awhile. Had my brain fried by ToB I guess.
And I just kill that Umberlee witch
