So, is this a "Full" patch, or an incremental one? Sorry, I'm new to the unofficial patches for this game.

There are two versions, the normal one is full but there is also a smaller incremental one for people that already use the last patch.

Was playing through and I noticed when I point to Grout's skeleton I get a stake icon. I don't remember ever seeing that before, is it new? Nothing happened when I pressed the "E" key.
BTW, great job tweaking this classic game.

Yeah, that is new and it was added by me to show off the unused icon, which was very probably originally intended to be used for staking enemies. It triggers recognizing the death of Grout and you will notice a similar occasion later on!

Do you think it's at all possible to implement the staking of enemies?

I don't think so. The best we could do would be replace another melee weapon with it...

Technically all it would do is paralize vampires anyway, but can a weapon even make that kind of distinction between creatures?

Still, for melee vampires, I'd think it of a worthy weapon, though one that could be considered overpowered depending on how you would implement it. If it were possible to do, I'd assume that it would most likely be a weapon with "ammunition charges" as you would lose the stake after stabbing a vampire with it.
As for making distinctions between enemies, I'd assume that you could probably make a condition using a vampire only trait (such as an ability, Blood Heal for instance) as a keypoint - so if, the creature has this ability, they're not immune to ability called "paralyze".
Something along those lines, but then again, this is only hypothetical.

Well, I have the steam version, and I'll be loading it up in a few to see if I installed it right.

Okay, so I am in the Downtown area and I can't find "Fat Larry" behind that truck since I installed the new patch. Is he in a different spot now, or something?

Wesp, here are a few questions I have with this game:
Is the crossbow supposed to be a stealth weapon or not? The in-game description implies that it is but when I shoot it while crouched and in a hidden spot (not obfuscated) everyone automatically sees me and attacks. I am not spotted when I use Dominate/Suicide or Dementation/VoD on a foe while hidden.
Is Auspex's x-ray vision feature supposed to be useless against the Griffith Park boss? Even at a high level (4-5), I can't see his aura through the walls.
Can you disable the bouncing motion of the Steyr Aug when you move? I also find it annoying when your character raises the gun up (to adjust grip?) - it blocks too much of the screen.
Why do I loose Humanity when I kill the lone Tong ("You don't want to know what I do to you. I'm crazy") in one of Chinatown's alleys? He attacked me!
Final level of SoL: Why does the PC have his/her back turned to Bach after the dialog ends?
By any chance is it possible to create new maps/areas/missions for this game? I love this game, I just wish we could get some new content.
Great job with the UP!

The crossbow is more silent than all other weapons but not as much as disciplines. Firing it without being noticed only works at a certain range.

That boss is done in a very special way so this may be the reason you can't see him. I can't make him mortal either or influence his stats in any way!

No, we just can't edit model animations.

Fixed!
Final level of SoL: Why does the PC have his/her back turned to Bach after the dialog ends?
Because of the camera position.

I don't think it is possible to create new maps, but for new missions check out the Clan Quest mod!

Should I be able to lower my humanity below 3? Nothing I do, such as killing civilians and cops left and right, reduces H below 3. I noticed this late in the game as a Malk, then I started a new game as a Brujah - same thing: can't go below 3.
I'm running 6.8, upgraded from a clean install plus 6.7. No other mods installed.

On my latest Malkavian playthrough, I have the humanity at 2. Only thing is I have no idea what I did to get it that low. Though I did first notice it was that low after
I sent Patty down into the Hospital basement to Pisha.
I don't know if that is exactly what did it, though.
