How many skill points in tumble do you need to get +1 to ac? The manual says 5 skill points but nwn 2 wiki says 10 skill points which one is correct? Also, why do you get a negative -2 after putting 2 in tumble for the 1st level?

If your Dex is lower than 10, you get penalties to Tumble.
Heavy armor adds penalties to tumble aswell

Also pay attention to maximum Dexterity bonuses with armor. (..and *arcane* spell failure, IF you are capable of casting an arcane spell.)
