death ward

death ward spells protects me against death effect's does it protects against necromancy like lvl drain energy drain or ability drain ? if not is there a spell that protects against that?

No, it doesn't protect against those. I don't know of a spell on the top of my head, but Book of Exalted Deeds has an Armour ability that does so.

quoted from page 217 of the 3.5 PHB, "the subject is immune to all death spells, magical death effects, energy drain and any negative energy effects (such as from inflict spells or chill touch)."

This means everything from the 1d8 inflict light to harm, and the str dmg from chill touch, and the negative levels from vampire touches, and the paralysis from a ghoul or a lich. All of the above. Negative energy = NIX.
