Minsc will not talk to me

Hiya

Replaying BG1 I've run into a problem I've never had before.

Going to Naskhell to pick up Minsc - I talked to him, and he said his hamster didn't like me. I think it must have been due to CHA (because my rep, was around 14-15).
Okay - I though, I'll just go fetch Dynahair wich I did.
But when I came back to Naskhell - Minsc will not talk to me at all, or Dynahair.
When I click on him - he just says one of his speech-lines(like his battlecrys and such) but no text-dialog appers in the textbox.

I've tried to edit my CHA to 18 - did nothing.

Is Minsc lost forever, because then I have to start again?

Well never had that problem myself, but does he speak with evel characters, or do you have Edwin with you?

I had similar problem during my first playing BG1 - my cleric had 3 charisma and Minsc didn't want to join my party. You should have more than 10 charisma to join him.

My PC is C-Good, and Edwin is as dead as he should be (wich is DEAD BUWAHAHAHAA)
