A bit of a druid problem

For some inexplicable reason, any druid character I make doesn't, and can't, learn any spells, whether it be at first level or later. I've tried reinstalling, choosing different feats, stats, races, deities, but nothing works. I know it USED to work, as I used a druid before, but it doesn't now.
And yes, spells works for every spellcaster but the druid.

Did you raise your wisdom appropriately?

..Also,
-have you hit the "B" key to select and memorize the spells? (..its not a sorcerer-type caster.)

Yes to both.

bummer.

(..and I'm assuming you rested after selecting the spells.)
Try the update "button" on the game disc intro. After updating try again. If no joy after that, then go to the bioware official forums and look for the appropriate thread to post your problem.

Have you tried cleaning out the override folder?

Now you've misunderstood me. I don't GET to choose my spells. That part of leveling up, and making a character for that matter, never comes up. It just skips it. Stats, feats and other things show up fine, but never the spell screen for druids. If I go into my spell book, it's always empty.
And yes, I've cleaned out the override as well.

Noooooooooooooo.....
Clerics and Druids do NOT get to choose spells on level-up.
It's automatic based on class level (..by divine providence). i.e. you get *all* the spells automatically.
Favored Souls and Spirit Shamans however act more like Sorcerers and DO get a selection to choose from.
After you level-up. Press the key "B" for your spell book and select those spells you want to memorize (i.e. click on the spell to have it transferred to your spell book). THEN rest to have those spells memorized.
It's always worked that way.

You do have the WIS score (10+ spell level) for the spell, too?

...Then I'm confused, as I chose spells before when I could actually play as a druid... And I still choose spells for companions such as Elanee... Does that mean that my game USED to be weird, or that it was weird and just got stranger... Gah! My fragile little mind has been blown!

By choose spells, do you mean you actually get to select the spells you learn when you initially create a druid character and on subsequent level ups?
Or do you mean to choose which spells your druid memorizes in his spellbook? Think wizard.

I mean that earlier, about a year ago or so, when I made druids, I chose spells when I leveled just like a wizard does. I didn't get all of them, but instead had to choose which I wanted to actually be able to use on the level up screen. Elanee works the same way right now.

That shouldn't happen. Like was mentioned earlier, Druids simply know all their spells, which should be reflected in the spellbook.

Normally I could chalk this up to faulty memory, but if Elanee is currently doing this then your game is FUBAR'ed.
Completely wipe it and re-install.

I'd tend to agree with this. I have yet to see a bug that changes a game's mechanics by that much.
@Salihs,
Does this mean your game is working fine now? As in your druid can memorize and use his/her spells accordingly?

The player character, yes. So apparently it works for the character I thought it didn't, but not for the character I did...
I've reinstalled several times, always the same thing. Completely wiped each time. I'm thinking my anti-technology field is working up again...
