I have a few questions about equipment @ items.
I'm presently in the Brotherhood after returning from the Glow. I have met my roommate Jerry and I assume it's ok to store things in one of the lockers

1. Power Armor. From what I can tell there's a difference 65 lbs between it an Combat Armor. Is it worth it?
2. Stealth Boy and Motion Sensor a total of 10 lbs. Do I really need these?
3. Mentats. I've got about 20 of these. Do I really need them?

I'm asking because I've got Ian with a backpack and Tycho with a bag and both of these are stuffed full of all the misc items I've found and all the 10mm JHP, 44mmJHP, .233 FMJ, and shotgun shells I can find or buy.

Also just thought I would throw this in. My character is equipped with the combat shotgun and .233 pistol. Tycho has his shotgun and the Sniper rifle, and Ian has the Desert Eagle 44 and a 10mm pistol. He also has a Assault rifle but it's in the backpack. Is this the best way to equipment them or is there something better?

Power Armor - It's the best armor in the game and makes you almost invincible. It gives you +4 (or something, I forgot the actual number) strength. Use it unless you're going for a challenge.

Stealth Boy & Motion Sensor - I honestly never used them. I don't even remember what the Motion Sensor is for. If you're not playing a specialized thief character you probably won't be needing the stealth boy.

Mentats - If you're intelligence and science skills are really low then it's good to keep a couple around... maybe 3 or 4.

Followers - Tycho and the sniper rifle is a good fit. Ian owns with the SMG so give him one of those*.







*I am, of course, really really really just kidding.

To be honest, I used the .233 Pistol almost the entire time. It's low AP and high damage coupled with good ammo-stats, make it a keeper. It only became my backup weapon when I got a Plasma Rifle.

The Power Armour is worth it. Just check the difference in defenses when you equip it.
