What special abilities does he acquire over the course of the game? With me he had only two special skills: talking with the dead and
raising dead party members. If some of the screenshots I saw are to be believed he could have gained a lot more...
(check the manual for example)

If you are a sensate then you can get the Kiss
That is about all i can remember

If you're in the Dustmen, the Dead will be less inclined to attack you, and provided you don't attack 'em first, you'll get a +4 to defense against 'em.
I think the Chaotic group gives you occasional additional memories.

There is also a few extra spells one recieves with the help of Dak'Kon which are NO specific

True, and you can get unique spells from Ignus, too, provided you're willing to part with a little health.
