What is highest backstab multiplier? 5x? What level do I get this?

Book of Pestilent Thought (I think thats it) says I have to sell a companion into slavery...is this a good idea?

I've got some weirdass earring with inscriptions on it that I've had from the beginning of the game, how do I read it?

I've been Lawful Neutral the WHOLE game, my alignment has never changed. I would like to be good so I can use some certain items, what's the best way to go about raising my alignment?

Where is Cloudkill!!!!??????

Raise your allignment by helping everyone being nice all the time and finsish all the quests. And it's not wise to sell a companion into slavery because:
1: npcs are rare already so selling them is stupid.

2: npcs act aggressifly and sad.

3: the rewards you'll get when finished with the book are really bad and are nothing compared to a lving ally.

4: completing the bookmakes you chaotic evil(unchangeble I think).

reasons enough to dump it somewhere don't you think? :)

You have to talk to a zombie in the mortuary, i think he is in the bottom room of upstairs, BTW it isn't worth it, you only get a few more coppers once you sell it.

The Grimore of Pestiential thought gives you the equivalent of a death spell, a fantastic spell but the sacrifices you have to make are worth considering. Plus Dak'Kon can not use it he doesn't have enough intelligence.

Backstab multiplier:
Level 1-4= 2x
Level 5-8= 3x
Level 9=12=4x
Level 13+ =5x

You play as you yourself want to.

As for Cloudkill, I can only say I would stay away from that spell, as the game involves pretty much melee. Not only that, but it has a tendency to kill NO, no matter what.

But Cloudkill is an exceptionally easy and effective method of killing worms at a distance, and racking up some high experience without a great deal of effort.

Does anyone want to know how to make nameless one REALLY powerful?

First level up normally as a Fighter only putting up your constitution untill it hits 25. This is your ultimate regreneration rate. Very cool.

Secondly, when you obtain the Celestical Fury sword from Trias, Evolve it into a dagger so a mage and use it.

Continue growing as a fighter, retaining your lawful good alignment and once your intel. and wisdom hits 19 / 19 then go Wizard.

Viola! A mage with somewhere between 300 - 350 hit points, ultra fast regeneration and a super fast, super powerful dagger, which the mage can wield

This may take a LONG time to do but I am sure that in the end you'll take out the Trasdecent One with a few spells and a couple of Chops ;)

Now I only wish they would release a Sequal. I'd die for another chance to chop up Ravel. MUH HUH HUH HUH HUH

If you don't hit some levels first as a mage rather than a fighter, you won't get a pair of the best mage-oriented tattoos you can acquire in the game. And in the final analysis, a mage is all about spellcasting, not hitting things with weapons.

But it is always good having a backup solution to weapons I think.
