Copper Earing

So I have just started playing PS:T. I have been to the thrid floor and killed the zombie 79. The one that was suppose to show me how to open the copper earing. What can I do Can I still do this even if I killed him. I had to kill him because the dustmen pissed me off. And my Dex was to low to grab him.

If you "talked" to him, just go to the inventory screen and use the item.

I have tried that but it does not give me a path to open the ring. Just about puting it away. Is there any other way down the road to open it up. Does it do anything intresting when opened????

You can open it by examining a Zombie in the southen store room on the top floor. The pattern on the Zombie matches the combination on the ring.
As far as I know, apart from being worth more, there are no other benefits.
I didn't even know someone could tell you how top open it
