This made me.... angry.

I had just finished of the quest where i got the nice 1h-mace for my halfgiant
fighter and i KNOW i saved after i equipped it, 110% sure since i ALWAYS save
when i find either a new setitem or some nice questreward item.
About 5 minutes after i´ve gotten the mace, my computer decides to reboot
and when i reload my game, the frikkin mace is GONE - and the quest is
according to the journal , completed..
WTF !??!?!... Why cant i save in diffrent saveslots , just one slot for all saves,
i used to like this game alot, but now after spending a few hours on this Q and
it gets fubar like this... im not to pleased anymore

would you mind telling me where the hell the cave with the mace is? i searched all over the lost valley of the azunites and i couldnt find it!

just go to your game dir and load up the secondary save the game keeps as backup.

If you would´nt mind telling me the stept to load this backup save, i´d be
happy. Since i dont wanna ruin my entire savegames and start all over again.'

Go to My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Save\SinglePlayer\character name\
rename *.ds2party and *.ds2radar to something else like *.ds2party.OLD.
rename the 2 .bak files to remove ".bak" from the name ( this way you wont lose any of the files) The game should now load your last save.

it must be a bug I had things disappear then appear like the hero ammy and ring
