Multiclassing

I just finished playing Neverwinter Nights and I love the fact that a single character can train in multiple classes.

I think this would be an interesting addition to KOTOR III. it woulk make for more diverse characters and a more interesting game experience. For example, you could level as a guardian for awhile and then if you wanted some more kick out of your Force powers, you could add on a few consular levels.

I really this might make the game more enjoyable on repeated playthroughs, as there will be almost limitless character options.

yeah that would be pretty cool i'd like to be a consular then a sentinal then a consular and like even a jedi weapon master then you can go to the darkside and become sith lord that be amazing :D

Remember that choosing jedi classes was something quite important - in first KOTOR you had to answer some questions to determine which class suits you best, but I can see nothing wrong in multiple prestige classes - e.g Guardian/Watchmen/Weapon Master - he would be strong :D .

i have mixed feelings about multi classes. this could make for more variety but then again would it cuz everyone would find out what is the best then everyone does that. The other side of it is how many times you play the game trying to find out on your own the extent you can get in your character so its kind of a double bladed sword. In doing this would it stray from the original jedis i mean i dont remember seeing anything about multi classing a jedi but then again i have never read all the books.

That sounds familiar, a game I played was like that... where you could use different types but had to level up in those fields... i forget what it was called, but it was fairly cool...

and your idea sounds like the original KOTOR, only with more choice when your changing classes. I like it though, it would make the game a lot more interesting.

Not that its not interesting now...

If you want to be a consular/guardian, you should pick the sentinel class.

I think its more of a problem for people who want to play sentinel/consular, stuff like that, looking for increases of feats instead of force owers, ect.

Why would you want to play as a sentinel/consular? A consular only gets like 4 more force powers than a sentinel. If you spend a portion of the game playing sentinel so you can get his immune features, by the time you switch to consular you'll only be able to get like 1 of the extra force powers that a consular gets more than the other classes.

Now if they allowed you to pick force jump, force focus, fear immune, and stun immune along with other new jedi features and allowed you to train or pick them seperately than other features then you could make a few interesting jedi.

OK, sentinel/guardian then, its just an example. But as you just pointed out, it be nice to have the immunity abilities of the sentinel and the force jump and weapon abilities of a jedi guardian /weaponsmaster all in the same charatcer.
