Like that conversation with Yshania earlier....even though I did it, but, I don't know, when I read through it again, it feels like it was done by someone else, not me

Well that is not wierd IMO.

It may not be weird to you, but it's weird for me...since I never distance myself from anything I do

Well I guess I'm blessed? (well acutally I belive we all are) with multiple personalities that I use depending on situations, therefore I can adress one person in one personality and another person with yet another personality.
But what I think is happening to you is that you are simply getting older, so you have a lot changing in your life, which is manifesting in your "board-behaviour" (you know - depressed, etc.) It could be that you are "cheerful" IRL - and use the board to get other feelings out.
(IMO)

Yeah, well, I can't show my depression in real life

(though I can lose it, at times

).I'm not cheerful either (just ask anyone who knows me in real life

)

@Brink, what do you mean, your actions seem unlike you? How are you acting?

I acted like a foul-mouthed person in school today

(you know, the type that says, "what the [insert expletive here] do you want?" when someone else approaches him )

Well I don't think many do - I for one never shows signs of depression IRL but I don't do it on the board either.
But all I'm saying is that you shouldn't confuse
your board-behavior for IRL-behavior, so if you do something on-line it is not nesecary that it is something you would/should do IRL

@Xandax-My previous post seem to be the reason why I'm losing my friends

(I don't know what came over me

)

Ohh - so it is IRL you act differently than you want to/are use to?
Posted: Tue Jul 24, 2001 11:44 pm
by Brink
I'll say both

Well IMO you properly know why you feel like you do, or have a pretty good idea about it.
Therefore you should be able to change the behaviour you don't like about yourself.

I'm very confused at what to do now

Well for instance if you are affraid to say something wrong/bad to somebody - then all you have to do before you speak, is to think about what you want to say. (the same goes for the board BTW)
