Right now my paliden has 20 skill in thorns so what should i put skills into now. I dont need anymore auras and i dont like spending alot of mana on spells. So what should I get?

i had the same problem... my paladin had 20 points in thorns, and a couple(sp?) in zeal. which combat skill do you have? when thorns was maxed, i started putting skills in the lvl 30 defensive aure(dont remember it's name) and it worked quite well...

You'll want to have thorns on while you fight, so choose (I can't remember what it is called) the spell were you gain health and mana from dead bodies. Simply place this aura on after fights to regain health. Another trick is to use it when versing minions, as it prevents them from being raised.

Personally, I believe that you should have a strong fighting spell, such as zeal, but you said not to have a spell.

that aura you mentioned is the lvl 30 defensive aura i mentioned...

I remember a thorns Paladin was one of the first classes I tried, but the problem was that thorns didn't do nearly as much damage as one would want ~ useless in hell mode and doesn't have synergies.

Still you would be interested in maxing Zeal or getting a high Vengence for killing monsters faster. Vengence is a skill you seriously need for dealing with Physical Immune monsters later on in the game.

i would recommend vengeance and finally if u are lvl 30 take that aura of lower resists.

well lets a poll. vengence or Zeal.
But right now i have 4 skill in zeal.

What exactly are you trying to make? A missionary? If so, the logical distribution would be in Conversion. Also is this 1.10 or 1.07?

But anyway, Vengeace. I don't like Zeal without Fanat.

I use a zeal/fantacisim combination. Worked well enough to beat Hell in the expansion.

A missionary paladin was the first thing that came to mind for me too. Turn on the thorns, convert a few baddies, and let them fight with you. This would be akin to a meleenecro using minions while cursing monsters with iron maiden. From what I understand, this build isn't too viable in hell mode anymore since the 1.10 patch made monsters partially resistant to physical damage.

right now im playing version 1.07. Vesion 1.10 isnt working for my game.

why doesn't it work?? do you have LoD?

i do have LoD installed. I downloaded a patch but it wont work. It still says im playing version 1.07.

did you download diablo patch or LoD patch? when i patched my game, i tried first with diablo patch, and it didn't work. i had to download and run LoD patc for it to work....

yes i did download the patch for LoD not just Diablo

then i have no clue
do you get an error messege? all i did was download the patch, open it, and the next time i started the game i was patched....
