I think N'Stink will be only minor characters that don't even a line of dialogue. First it's the name, and now this.

So much for George Lucas making good casting calls...

I think Lucas will have these cast for the next serie :
Renee Zelweger as Princess Amidala
Axel Rose as the sound of Yoda
Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Larry King & Jay Leno for Jedi Council
Maybe he'll include Osama as Obiwan Kenobi

Chill guys.
They didn't make it past the editing room.
They were suppose to be in cameo roles. Extras in the crowd, knights in the background etc. Because George Lucas daughter was a big fan or something. However that's all in the past.

Hears the name N'Sync.....
Pulls twin double barreled sawed-off shotguns from under his trenchcoat, spits out the window, and settles into the shadows to wait for the appearance of this boy band.

You guys can rest assured that N'Sync has been cut out of AOTC. I heard this info from tnmc.org which is a usually reliable source for movie news and reviews. Not that having N'Sync in the movie for a brief "cast of thousands" cameo would have hurt (or helped) the movie any, but a lot of anti-boy band folks out there made a big stink over it and Lucas made sure they were left on the cutting room floor.
Of course, I would look for them to be digitally inserted into the background by some of ILM's CGI folks just to hack off everyone who complained and to give the "hidden stuff" something else to look for.

They dance like girls, sing like girls, and all woman love them. They're gay. That's why they're called boy bands. It's a clue, most people don't get it, but it's a clue alright.

The only way for males to make it big in the popstar world is to sing like a girl.
Does this mean that female popstars were once male?

Does this make the feminine majority of preteen America lesbian?
Either that, or the gullible 11-year-olds just don't realize that they are men, and want to be singers like them... ever notice that most famous female artists came out
after the men?
Now I'm not trying to be derogitory towards women. I'm just stating that just like 11 year old boys obsess over Dragonball Z and Jackie Chan, 11 year old girls obsess over N'Spank.
Ah, youth...

I agree that having N'Sync in the background wouldn't have hurt the movie at all. It just would've been an Easter Egg their fans could look for. I actually feel sorry for them getting cut (isn't it everybody's dream to be in a Star Wars film, even if it just as an extra). Unfortunately Lucasfilm bowed to the will of the whining Fan Boys, which IMHO is never a good thing. Peter Jackson didn't give in when the net-nerds blew a gasket about Arwen's increased role in The Fellowship of the Ring (and the movie kicked ass). I’m hardly an N’Sync fan, but I feel they’re being cut truly was an injustice.

If their appereance wasn't such a big deal, why did Lucas announce it to the world...
