otherwise, talk to all the zombies (or at least try to) and talk to all the "named" characters. you have to talk your way out, basically. depending on where you are in the mortuary, there is a key for part of it. you'll need to check all the tables and containers. say spoilers if you want more.

spoil me, where is the other key? Talking to Zombies now...

as to how to get out of the mortuary:

on the level where you wake up, you have to get the key to the preparation room from zombie number 752. i think you have to kill the zombie to get it.

be sure to talk to all the characters, esp. dhall and ei-vene. keep going clockwise till you hit the most eastern chamber. there is a zombie there that can dress you up like a zombie if you prefer to go through the mortuary that way. he can tell you about a portal to get you out of the mortuary. the key to it is a bone charm, which you will find in a container. you can bash locked containers open. when you get to the bottom level, you can either get out by using the portal or talking to soego. there's lots more you should do here, and things you can get, but this is the short version. good luck!

Can anyone who has played it help me out? I'm stuck in the mortuary. I can't find the key I need to get anywhere......

Cool, thanks I got out of their now. Trying to get to the clerks ward for Ignus, but I am pretty sure I can do that.
