I just downloaded wizards crown. Pretty cool stuff. Even the old pinball construction sets. Nothing like electronic nostalgia; saves the soul.

90 minutes gone and nothing. I'm shocked. There must be a bunch of you 30 something gamers out there. The web site is fantastic.

Is it just me or do none of the downloads work? I assume they are all pretty busy right now.

With the underdogs site you can not use a download accelerator that makes more than one connection to the site, disable all download managers when trying to d/l anything.

Also, some of the games might require an older emulator to run. For instance, there are a lot of old commodore 64 games that require a commodore 64 emulator to run properly. Emulators are available all over the Internet.

I'd really recommend downloading wizards crown (amazing combat system albeit tedious) and lords of conquest has to be one of the top ten all time (way ahead of its time). Played it yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks Ned, that's a great link ;)

I'm going to have to go peruse the site at my leisure, there's a lot of good info there besides just the downloads.

Damnit... I was hoping to find Pigskins there, but no such luck. Does anyone know where I can find it? It was an old Coin-Op medieval football game where your Viking-style team would run around the field grabbing weapons and killing the other players when they tackled them ( Image Image ). If one player was getting severely whupped then the game would "send in the troll", (an elite green dude who kicked ass) to help the losing player (once a friend and I both managed to get trolls  :D ). The game was fun as hell but ever since the local arcade closed (about six years ago :( ) I've haven't seen the game since. :(
