Apparently (thanks THG ) women are now making more than men in high technology areas.....opinions?

Well, they almost got the equality thing down...

Nope, no opinion. A very strange and tingly feeling, I have no opinion about this. This can't be happening.

Well finally back to SYM (amazing how much time away school takes away from your online time) and I'm gonna post an actual opinion *gasp*

Ok, this is an opinion my friend gave me, and shes a girl. She believes that while equality is good, sometimes its put too much to the extreme. While itd be nice to have men and women equal, there are differences you haev to consider. Somethings you just cant change genetically and a lot of feminists dont realize this. Many including that women just arnt built physically like men are which is why they dont play real physical games like football(exceptions accepted) Otherwise though jobs like these are good. Itd be nice to have some sense in the lab rather than some competition all the time. We need the stable head of women in high places more.

That is my friend's opinion adn I agree with her

Actualy did it not state that only woman with 20 to 29 years of experience in thier buissiness did earn more then men with same experience?

I strongly disagree here, I think everyone should be judged on merits and not on gender. While its true that woman in generall is physically weaker then men in generall this is not true for every singel woman compared to every singel man. This means that if you make ANY decissions based on gender you base you decissions on pure prejudices.

The only acceptabel deviation from this is imo reproduction.

I have tried to avoid this thread as some of you may not like my opinions but there we go...

Some of you may consider me to be sexist but the idea of 'equality' annoys me. I'm going back to the roots of it now but I can give examples; Take for instance the ideas of rape. Men are normally considered guilty for being stronger and more physically able, which I agree is true but a lot of women use their sexuality to their own advantage and make the claim of 'date rape'.

You also have the way women consider that a man should be completely monogonous, yet men still have 'natural insticts' that take them to the urge to spread their seed and carry on the race. This is not an excuse but a fact.

There is also the fact that men have always wanted to play the role of the 'bread winner'. Having women suddenly demand that they go out to work aswell has been difficult to adjust to. Women are also now going out just to get drunk, what men consider to be 'their' sort of activity.

As I understand women want an equal society yet they still want men to act like gentlemen and be considerate.

If it's an equal society, why should we have too?
