You really love that whale, don't you, Kayless? ;) :p

BTW, "Si hablo Ingles" for Texas is a bit off. We Texans don't speak no English. We speak Texan! :D

Well, not in Miami - I think I've never seen so many people below 25 in a city. Si' Hablo Ing'les might fit Florida better than Texas.

Not Florida, which is still largely Anglo, but definitely Miami, which is now more than 50% Hispanic, according to the latest census.

Hehehe Alaska rocks. The Northern Lights were out in full force last night, and they were brighter than I’ve seen them in years. The brilliant green, blue, and red glow of the Aurora Borealis is simple incredible to behold and if you've never seen them in person, no description can truly do them justice. Despite the sub-zero temperatures I’m still glad to live here in the North Pole(we get a free light show :) ).

I only spent a few days here and there at other places than Miami, since my husband lived and worked in Miami. Thinking about it, it didn't see a lot of Latin/Hispanic (what is the preferred term?) people at other places. Actually, I didn't see a lot of people at all, except for at the Keys.

Oooh, great :) I'm so envious! I never get to see the Aurora Borealis here. I'm not much south of you, but the city lights makes it impossible to see anything.
