Dutch is a funny little language. It's not easy for Dutch people themselves to see that though. Last night my SO showed me these videos of a Norwegian comedian called Kristopher Schau, pretending to be Dutch. He gets obsessed with this old '70 dutch comedy routine.

Part of what makes Schau funny is the randomness he puts on.

Heh. Dutch people tend to describe Norwegian as a fairytale language. Hopefully in a few years Dutch will sound as alien to me as Norwegian does to me now.

I'm making plans to move to Norway. In fact, I'm flying to Gardermoen this very evening for a short visit.
