My Artwork (No spam please).

K, so I've been working a lot with paint shop pro and fireworks trying to get some decent looking images out. I tend to do symmetrical and/or abstract images, so I figured something in the area of designing the interior of a home would be best suited for this work.

I'm wondering, and please be as brutally honest as possible, if any of these works were on a wallpaper, blanket, pillow, bed sheet, curtain, rug, welcome mat, velvet poster, or anything like that, would you willingly buy them (and hypothetically assume you have the money to blow on this sort of thing).

Here's the ones I'm thinking of selling-

And note: The insignia JH is only on the jpeg version of these pics (I have the originals without it) and all of the plain backgrounds can easily be changed.

Several of those, such as the pendulum and sunlight, would make really great large images on sweatshirts--perhaps brown ones. Nice stuff.

I like: pendulum, sunlight, featherswirl, rooster, demonic sandstone and spiderweb1.
Those would all be nice designs on something like a blanket or throw, or as Fable says, even a sweatshirt. I actually have a couple of large bed covers with warm colours and abstract images, so yes.. I'd buy something like that, for sure.

Bah - when I skimmed the post and saw home interior design in the title and the mention of fireworks .... I had a completely different idea going into the topic

Disappointed. :(

okay, but what do you think of the designs? Good, bad? Awful?

My favs are feather swirl, hitchcock rooster and demonic sandstone. But all in all the images look generally good. Would certainly make for some interesting wallpapers.

But as for actually buying them, well its just me but i generally only spend money on stuff i consider essential, and this ain't one of 'em. Sorry... but u did ask for honesty :p

Well yes, there are a lot of people who wouldn't buy it just because they don't find it really that useful or necessary to buy. But there are probably just as many that would buy it just because it meshes well with their home or it's pretty enough they want it on their wall.

So hopefully it means that the people willing to spend money on decorations for their home will find my designs good enough to buy.

Sorry for the double post, but got a good reason for it-

String of new stuff-

I think I put too much noise in this even though that's what I was going for-

Tried a new technique for noise, think it works a little better without losing image integrity.

And these last five are one layer effortless images I put together in 10 to 20 minutes, only meant to be nifty looking semi-unique patterns, not merit for creativity or effort-

Hmm, I am not a fan of abstract art and my house is decorated in some eclectic/neo-classical style, but some of the patterns do look nice. I like Pattern#4. I can see a bat in the center. This pattern should look good on a bedspread.
How exactly do you plan to sell the images?

Online site. My mother has an online shopping site she built with bizland and is willing to give me some of her space in conjunction with her business (It'd make it very easy on shipping and stuff too).

I'll be selling some as wallpapers, some as posters or canvas's, some as bedspreads or pillows, anything I can think they might use to decorate their homes.
