Not again...

fable can't claim that that post was personal and addressed to him. It was addressed to this forum as a whole. It is important and totally not against the rules for me to publically apologize to fable for my overreacting. By overreacting, I made some people, besides fable, mad at me. Those people need to see that I have apologized to fable.

I've seen it. At least I know you apologized.

@SS, may I point out that you began your deleted post with the following exact quote...?

"I honestly don't care if this topic gets deleted, I just felt it would be good if I posted this. Anyway, the reason I'm posting this topic."

If you didn't care about its getting deleted, then I figured a post which apologized only to me was personal, and surely not intended to be a public gesture. That's why I deleted it, and that's why I emailed you a reply.

So it was deleted because you said you didn't care about its deletion. Now, you seem to have changed your mind.

I guess I shoulda been a little more specific...though I didn't care if it got deleted, I thought you would reply to it and let it stay, even if closed, at least long enough for people to see that I had apologized. The second post, however, was not directed at you, it was directed at SYM. Thus the title of it was "@SYM." It was rather simple logic...or so I thought... *sigh*

Seems like misunderstanding, here.

Anyway, @SS I was happy to see you post where you apologized to Fable, since I think you did him wrong, and it's good you realised this :)

Okay. Look: obviously, this was a matter of a misstatement. You intended an apology, and you wanted others to see it. I still prefer that any other dialog between us on moderator-related matters be kept to PM, so if you wish to continue our discussion privately, per my last email, that's fine. :) But I'll be glad to repost your initial remarks. I'll close the subject, though, since I don't want to see any acrimonious debate erupt concerning the sincerity of your concern, or anybody else's judgment of it.

I honestly don't care if this topic gets deleted, I just felt it would be good if I posted this.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting this topic.

This topic is a formal apology to fable. Though I still maintain that my post shouldn't have been edited, I apologize for overreacting. You do not have to accept this apology, but it is a sincere apology.

A few things I'd like to ask.

When did fable get made a mod in this forum?

Why was fable made a mod in this forum?

Another question, directed directly to fable(go ahead and edit this question out of the topic if you think it shouldn't be asked in a public post): Do you really think you are able to be both a debator and a moderator? I've never seen anyone who could be as involved in debates as you are and be a moderator. If you can manage it, I'll be very impressed; not just because of you doing it, just because it will have been done.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say/ask. I honestly hope that you are not offended by any of my questions, fable. They are not meant to be offensive.
