A woman came to me and said her husband had a bad gambling dept with an Orc(Kurdan)and has gone missing .
I ask the Orc and he says that his family sword is missing on an island (Fort Grief).
If I retrieve the sword for him he will let the gambler((Aleron)go.
I went to fort, found gambler standing in fort .He says it is a trap and I will have to go under fort kill all fighters and get keys to get us of the island.
I do so and reservice to find the original orc there ,he tells me the keys are fake and sets more fighers on me.
I kill all includeing him,find real key on his body.But he has already killed the gambler .I have all I need to get through the iron gate back to boat .
I get to iron door and get the old messagage that this door opens from a differant location .
I have been over every inch of this 3 story crumblig fort and can not locate the switch to open the last door to get out to boat.
This means that the game has ended for me .
Has anyone else had this exerience?
Any help would be appreciated.

The key you get off Kurgan's body is the real key which you'll need to open a gate inside the fort itself. If i remember correctly, the gate should be on your left once you enter the fort... i could be sadly wrong here as i have not played oblivion for ages. Anyhow, you should have noticed that gate the first time you canvassed the fort to kill the hunters for their keys. The key to unlock that gate comes from Kurdan, and once you get it open, behind is the lever which you can activate to open the fort's main gate and allow you to escape in the boat.

It has been some time since I did this quest so I'm not sure how accurate my memory is. But, I seem to recall that there's a small room just off to one side after you enter the fort on the first level. In that room there's a switch or panel or something.. You need to press it.
I think so anyway, I could well be wrong here.
