Okei, I've been looking around at google and here in the forum for days now and havent come up with anything. So here goes one last shot:

In the tangled web quest part 2, Mitnick i supposed to leave a wireless camera in your mailbox but for some reason, instead of a camera i got a throwing star.... sucks.

I've been able to find out that its a bug but thats all. haven't been able to find any info else than that. not a single thread aboute it...
I tried the console andthere actually wa a comando "give item_g_wireless_camera_4" but guess what? nothing happens when you type it in... I dont get anything. And I really hate to have unfinished quests so PLEASE now. can anyone help me on this one?

(sorry if I've done some misspelling, I live in sweden so)

It seems you mixed up some patches and mods, what do you have installed? The unofficial patch turns a camera into a throwing star but includes python code to keep the quest working. I'll make it more compatible with other mods in the next version...

Okei, as far as I know, I've only installed Unofficial English Patch 6.2 by Wesp and the Clan Addon 2.1
altough, I haven't really tried doing the quest, I thouht trying to install a throwing star as a camera was kinda wierd..
whats that python code that you talk aboute?

That's the problem then right there. The Clan Addon is not really compatible. I'll try to improve that bit for bit but forgot the cameras.

That's not really connected. I just turned the four seperate camera items into one stackable one, to restore some unused items...

...and adjusted the python code that does a lot of the game logic to deal with it. Obviously the clan mod changed that code itself.
