Alien Vs. Predator 2. Very impressive game, both visually and audibly. Sierra really improved the game itself, adding a more grungy look to the series, making it appear more human. The visuals in the game are amazing. everything from the slightest dent in the floor, to the debris littering the ground, to aliens fluidic movement as they scury towards you. the audio is right on par with the visuals, adding a live comm-link with the rest of the squad, so you can hear every bit of conversation and order placed over the comm. The screams of the aliens, and the sounds of weapons blaring are impressive, and true to the movie. The omnious thudding of an alien as it tries to break down a door to pursue you adds a nice touch to the game, making the enviroment that much more enticing, and terrifying. the smooth gameplay, mixed with the eye/ear candy is the cherry on top. This game is destined to out-due it's predecessor, and corner the FPS market for this christmas, and following spring.

Completed Max Payne the other day, thinking I would find a game to tide me over until NwN.
Boy were I wrong.
Okay - graphics is excellent, the story is actually okay for a FPS and bullet time makes this game. (You know - "matrix" bullet time :D )

But but but - any game I can complete in a weekend, is not worth it - short short and once more - it is to short.

Great game, but to short.

Guess I'll just play Counter Strike and BG2 untill NwN

Not yet - have thought about it though, but the story is IMO to liniar to be interesting a second time around.

I also only played Deus Ex twice because eventhough I really liked that game, I also found it short - but wanted to try a different character setup

I'm lucky enough to have a beta version of the game. My friend and a few other guys have started up a Canadian gaming publication, and they were sent a copy of the orginal version by Sierra. Me being an avid gamer, I managed to get in there, and play the thing. The demo only touches the surface of the game.

You are probably right, it can however be interesting to see how much more skilfull one has become :)

Same here to a degree, i only played through it once, i didn't find it too short, but then i only played it about an hour at a time, which might have some bearing on that ;)

Which games have you found to be of adequate length?

@Aegis, Sounds  If the Beta version is as good as you say i might keep an eye out for the full game :)

Pong XXIV

More addictive than heroin (so I'm told). Some minor bugs, though.

(sorry, fable, couldn't resist) ;)
