I did all of the quests and beat Dagon for the lady of the lake and recieved the sword Aerowsmith. When I went to leave the Island Berringer wasn't there to challenge me. Wha' happened? How do I solve this? Thanks for an answer.

I played E.E 1.45.
i didn't meet him in Black Tern island when i bit Dagon and get a gift from Lady of Lake.
I go to lakeside to find Berengar who is near a campfire.
I kill him there.

next time i will try to let him alive.

Can't get out of part 4 (spoiler)

Thanks for your reply, but I went to Berringer at Lakeside by the fire and there is no opportunity or dialouge to allow you to kill him, o rlet him likve. Then I go back to the village and it is still peaceful.
Any more ideas?

well, i think you have to finish the other questoin that might trigger you to kill or let him alive.
he will always there, i always say hello to him when i pass throught the way during another questions...

If you think you had finished all questions, i suggest that you can press "J" , for mission.
and filter only mission for CH4, open any step to find which step you haven't complete.
It is strange if a mission contain 5 steps, and we assume you are running at step-3, you can still jump over to step4 or step 5 when you did something unsequence. try to review small step question
that you might find something missing.

Did you meet with the elves in Lakeside? Did you help Berengar clear a crypt? Did you resolve the love triangle between Julian, Celina, and Alina? If you've really completed all of the quests for the chapter, then maybe you should try traveling to and from Black Tern Island a couple of times to see if Berengar shows up.

to liave the island.(he should be appeared here normally)

this time, i save his life.
but he is real week and die easy when fight with Azjxxx.
