How do I aquir these things? When I sell stuff I get gold. How do I get trading bars?

At the start you will find ore, timber, and hides on the map sometimes. You will find ore in encounters with Batiri sometimes, both at Batiri locations and on OM encounters it is a random drop.

Sell the resource to a city for trade bars.
