So how did you spend the Memorial Day Weekend?

Memorial Day is a US custom that generically honors its war dead, and refers to this past weekend. Many people visit relatives; others (like my wife and I) watched movies, went out to eat a few times, and cuddled a great deal. :D So what did you do the past weekend? :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Watched 'old' war movies, played 'Panzer General II' (just for fun :rolleyes: ), ate out Saturday night (anniversary), read the 'Silmarillion', kicked back and relaxed. :D

Monday: Went to parents house for wine and barbucue :) I found the potato salad to be as delicious as I remembered. We also discussed WW2 (brought about by the mention of the movie 'Pearl Harbor'), and then war propoganda in general...

Then went back home to finished unpacking :(

I watched movies on the Sci Fi channel and spammed at the same time. Explained to my little girl what Memorial Day was about and beat the boss at the end of Bushido Blade for her as well.

i sit here on my platform, slaving away in the hot sun :( , had a ton of problems with wells shutting in :mad: , i did watch the nascar race sunday night :) , got our internet back on monday :D , and watched the X-Files marathon on FX :p . What sucks is that we don't even get holiday pay and our office had the day off! :mad:
