BGDungeon???

I've been hoping that I would come across some discussion of it, since this site is obviously it in its new incarnation. But I haven't. But it's been eating me up, I can't sleep at night without knowing what happened...

You don't know how much effort it took for me to find this site. It took the best meta-search engine I could find (Copernic) just to trace it. I had been visiting intermittently every few months and then one day I tried - whoosh gone without a trace. I even emailed SC2001 who was registered as the site admin, nary a reply

I guess I'm about to find out if this is a taboo subject or not

OK, err, don't post, but somebody email me...

Heh. The site owner of BGDungeon got annoyed at both some posts and some private correspondence from posters. He responded by shutting down the message boards, and intimated they'd reopen in a month or so.

It caused some trauma over here, but that's been resolved. Besides, the company is better and friendlier on GameBanshee, the place looks fresher, and the food is well-prepared.

I thought it was more or less agreed we would not comment on this type of thing if someone came asking.

(blink) I wasn't aware of any tacit agreement. Is anyone offended by my offering information, here, on this subject?

It's fine, I don't think the arguments stemmed from the circumstances of the BGD forums closing. They were more the result of comments made comparing GB unfavorably to BGD.

But the less said about that the better.
