what is it? i have the alien blaster and the a3-21 rifle but other than that nothing too special

In truth, the Firelance (Random encounter) is much better than the Alien Blaster, but neither is really good, since you have limited ammo for them.

As for my favourite Weapon: Vengeance, the enhanced Gatling Laser.

Most useful gun imho is the unique chinese assault rifle, the name eludes me. Its got pretty good power, can be easily maintained with assault/chinese assault rifles and you will never run out of ammo.

I agree i think it was called the Xuan long or xuan li.

My staple weapon throughout the game so far is the chinese assault rifle for the already said reasons. However there is nothing better than seeing your opponent turning to a pile of ash from a critical with the laser pistol and laser rifle!!!!!

but yes...whatever does the job in this game...

I liked the sniper too. My only problem is that spare parts for repair are pretty hard to come by. And vendors who offer repairs do so at an insanely high price (asking for a bullet in the head imho). But still it proves useful from time to time when taking out pretty tough/pesky characters.

So far all i need is my trusty plasma rifle. but when i get broken steel i plan to use colonel autum's pistol. it's about as strong as the alien blaster.

Im partial to the 2 fisted 6 barrelled gatilin .
It comes with a giant back pack off m-16 ammo .
You get that puppy spinning and there aint much going to touch ya:laugh:

-Plasma Rifle
-Hunt rifle

.44 ammo rifle, and repaired with hunting rifles.

I'm a fan of A3-21, easy to get early, high damage.

I've changed my mind....after playing around with the Dart Gun
I've come to love using it in combo type of kills..hit then use another weapon
long distance it'll put a raider down in secs......

Yeah i love it too. Lost count of how many times it came to my rescue by crippling those terrifying Deathclaws. When they are limping at you, it is much easier to go into vats mode and unload a whole clip of ammo into their face, and still have time to retreat before they actually engage you in melee combat.
