Hey all,
I'm replaying the game, and decided to do more with crafting, I am playing a 5 wizard/5 EK. I just tried to add the keen enchantment to a weapon, I have the arms/armor feat, had the right ingredients, and the crafting failed. I got a message saying that my caster level was not high enough. What's up with this, aren't I technically level 10, the necessary caster level according to my reference chart? I really wanted to do this kind of enchanting with my main character, and don't even have Sand yet as an alternative. Does anyone know if caster levels for crafting is only based (in this case) on wizard levels? If so, is there some kind of fix for this?
Due to the build I'm following, I'm trying to max EK levels, so I can't wait until I add the rest of my wizard levels (or I'd be in MOTB already heh)
Crafting/Caster level question
EK only gets caster level on levels 2-10 (not 1 EK). So your caster level is only 9 right now. Either level up one in casting classes or take the practiced caster feat.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
