Yes, folks. The 2001-2002 season of the NBA is about to begin within days.
Well Grunt opened the thread on American Football, I figured to follow his lead and make one for the sport I love.
Yeah, sure, at 5'2" it's obvious that this brown boy
"can't jump", but hey, I think I got game.
"You can't beat what you can't catch..."--- KJ, (then Phoenix Suns)
Thanks Allen Iverson, sure showed them that short people got reason to live in the hardcourt.
*puts on his UBER rings of fire resistance*
GO LAKERS!!!!!!

Threepeat! Threepeat!

Let's just say that I can do some Iverson cross-overs, and run circles around you that people might think we're dancing the Swing (BTW, I
DO dance the Swing, my fave!

) then make that "where'd it go?" pass to my teamate for that awesome "What duh?!" slam...
...and you'd think I STILL had the ball
Good evening, Mr.S. It's 7pm here.

Good evening Maharlika it is currently 1:15pm at work
BTW i play a bit of B'Ball every so often, i am fairly good as well, although i have this incredible nack of hitting the rim

but usually when i am knackered and can't be bothered to jump
Who do you play for, or have you got your own hoop etc?

Good morning Gentlemen! (and any lurking ladies

)
It's 7:30 am here at work.
I was fortunate to grow to 6'5", and had the opportunity to play basketball at college.
So, bring all that fancy dribbling/passing, I just like to hang by the rim and "roof" whatever gets close

...oh yeah, I sure can do those stuff I just told you...
...in my dreams!
But still, I DO dance the swing.
I just love having my partner go around in circles!
I used to play for the High School Faculty back in my country. Yes, teachers DO play ball too.

Of course, I get to do the point guard chores.
Practice my shooting, free throws and treys in school.
Unfortunately, I teach in an all-girl schools here in Thailand so I really don't get that much game.
Even my male co-teachers (Thais, an Aussie, a Brit, and an American) don't play that much either
In the Phils. B'ball is a PASSION. You'd see makeshift courts almost everywhere. Too bad we don't have the height to unseat the Chinese for Asian B'ball supremacy. However, for our ASEAN neighbors, we just kick their posteriors a dime a dozen during international meets.
Ate a kipper for lunch? or was it just for b'fast

Morning Mac!
*gives him a behind-the-back pass*
At 6'5" you'd make an excellent center in my country (pathetic isn't it?

we got the talent but not the height).
So what teams do you root for?

I failed to mention that college was a long time ago, and my main form of exercise now is getting up to get a beer.
The pro game seems to have lost some of its appeal to me in the last 5 years or so.
The is not as much team aspect, and too much emphasis on individual play.

Living in the Chicago suburbs, it has been hard not to be a Bulls fan. Of course, they really suck now.
I was never a huge Jordan fan. Sure, he can score, but what pro couldn't average 30 points a game if they took as many shots as he does. **ducks and looks for cover**
As you are a Lakers fan, I have a question.
Does Rick Fox make enough money to afford a razor? Although he married Vanessa Williams.....

Sad AND true.
That is why I was elated to see Kobe being the Man when he started MAKING his teammates MAKE him look good.
Though the West lost in the All-Star game, Kobe's last-second pass to Duncan showed promise that he'd be a team player...
...and well, the rest is history.

Well i am 6ft so i am just too short for rim work, but i am not too bad otherwise, better at the distribution side
I don't get to play much, the rates for any sports halls are a joke

You are 6ft and you're too short... *sigh!* what does that make me?
But they say, it ain't the size of the ship... but the motion of the ocean.
*thinks again*
What's the
"connectment"?

@Bulls: Tell me about it.

Nah, better yet, tell THAT to the Dynamic Jerries!
@Jordan: I wasn't either, but well, he CAN do that plus a whole lot more. It was his over-all game, his impact to both teammates and opponents, and other intangibles. Hey, if Rodman DOES give you respect, that means a WHOLE lot!
@Fox: LoL!

Perhaps Vanessa likes her men with that
"primordial" appeal...
...but it DID work for him , didn't it?

Good morning. No school for me today. Check Grimreaper's thread.
Anyway i rally don't watch NBA anymore.
i reccomend watching the college basketball, and college american football.
There far more entertaining, and with less adds. And more fun.

The NHL is better than the NBA.

And the CFL is better than both
