How high should I raise my skills?

I'm curious as to how high I should raise all my skills? For instance what's the highest pickpocket skill in the game? What's the highest lock picking skill? Diplomacy? Bluff? I just hate to waste points and put to many into one skill you know? Is there a list somewhere of the highest "checks" or whatever?

You'll have to be more precise as whether you are referring to the OC, MotB or SoZ as the answer is different for each.
As for SoZ, the highest crafting skill required is a 15 to actually craft an item, the highest skill check required on the OLM is a 19 (several skills), and the highest open lock is DC 40 and highest disarm trap is a DC 38 iirc.
I've never seen a list with the highest skill checks required for any of the expansions or the OC however.
