Crippling Strike

Hey guys,

I've got a question. Do the strength draining effects of multiple crippling strikes(rogue bonus feat) stack? I'm 99% sure that they did stack in NWN1, with the only restriction being the stat minimum of 3. Couldn't find any info on NWN2 though.

So long,
Sol

One way to find out would be a PvP session with somebody willing to help you find out.

I believe so. The thing with crippling strike however is that they are usually dead by the time the strength decrease starts to matter with some exceptions. Of course its needed for epic precision though.

This is the reason that I generally sell those arrows and bolts with poison properties (whether mild or normal).

A 5hd (read 40hp) ogre requires a LOT of d8 damage rolls from a longbow (even more when you consider the d6 from a shortbow) to bring him down and no str bonus is added to the that damage without using a mighty bow.

I MUCH preferred the concept in pre-3/3,5 where poison caused damage in and of itself and required two, time-separated saves to avoid multiple damage deals.

save or die used to be the most common poison in DnD. Was really fun being a thief and being the guy who disarms traps. With one of the worst poison saving throw tables to boot!
