I personally love Fable 1 and 2 but Fable 2 left out alot of the cool stuff in Fable 1, so I'd like pepole to post things they'd want to see in Fable 2 whether it be from Fable 1 or out of your imagination.

Here's a strat

Witchwood Arena(it just feels cooler than the other one)
Hook Coast
The Northern Wastes
OakVALE (I don't care if it's a drought or an under water city I just want it back!)
Knight Armour (Not this 1700's stuff)
Fishing
Ice Trolls
Scythe (he is undead after all)

Well Oakvale is as you said destroyed and was replaced with oakfeild.
I agree with you on the arena, I didn't even see spectators for the second arena.
I think Hook coast might have something to do with the new DLC coming out later this month, but I have nothing to back it up with. Just that its a snowy island.
Knight Armor actually should be available in the new DLC coming out.
Fishing was fun I agree that would be great to have back.
Ice trolls might come out in the new expansion since it is in a snowy environment.
Scythe isn't Undead just Immortal and I think he is in the game. You don't see him directly but you do hear of him. (SPOILER) After you beat Lucien, and choose Love (For me at least) read the letter Rose wrote to you carefully. She says that she is with a very slim and scary looking man that wears a hood. She goes on further to say that the man is reassuring her everything will be all right and that she feels a weird sense of safety when she's with him. Slim, scary, and actually a nice person. Sounds a lot like William (Scythe).

Actually on second thought, I retract what I said about Scythe. I just re-read the letter and I think I know who it is. (Spoiler again, it'll contain the contents of the letter)

Dear Sparrow,

I woke up today in such a peculiar place. It's like a great big forest, with lots and lots of trees that go on forever. I was scared at first because I couldn't find you, but there's someone here who says he knows us, says he knows our family. He told me his name, but I keep forgetting it. Weird. I think he's a king or something. He's very thin and wears a hood and looks scary, but he's nice and I feel safe with him here. I hope you're okay Little Sparrow. Somehow I know that it's all going to be alright, and we'll be together again one day. He promised me.

Love
Rose

"Says he knows us, says he knows our family." "I think he's a king or something." "...wears a hood and looks scary, but he's nice..." "...we'll be together again one day. He promised me."

Ill give you a hint and three guesses but you're only going to need one. Starts with a J...

J... .. ......!? Mind you, it does fit the description. Well done.

Scythe fits the description himself so it's hard to be sure. But I lean towards Jack.

Jack isn't a bad guess... but the words FEEL SAFE kill that idea, O.K. now that thats seteled I'd like to here some ACTUAL ideas :D , not comments on mine.

P.S.
Scythe is imortal because he never died

Speaking of DLC that's supposed to be WITCHWOOD(or atleast Knotholeglade)
and oakfeild doesn't feel the same as Oakvale.
And I looked at a sneak peak and the Spartan armour looks more like the origanal knight Armour, but I can deal with it for now.

Westcliff=Witchwood. I understand they have the same names but its an island to the far north from what I saw, and has snow. Rain forest=/= snow.

Next,

No, not settled and you misread. Now what was one of Jack's features? Charm was it? He seems to have a history of making promises of reuniting lost loved ones as well doesn't he? If one didn't know Jack of Blades or of his legacy, someone like oh I don't know, a young street urchin who can't afford a piece of cheese let a lone a book, Jack would seem like a trustworthy fellow. He's like a politician, he'll lie and give you a false sense of security so that he can use you to get more power.
Appears I'm hijacking this thread. (yoink)

P.S. Reread what I said about scythe, I said he was immortal not Undead which was what you said he was.

I know, I was just supporting your point. Anyway I was playing fable 1 resently (today) and noticed that Fable 2 lacks multiple save slots  .

Jack of Blades charming!? Where did you see any sign of Jack being charming? The nearest thing I saw to charm from Jack was at Scarlett's statue after winning the Arena, and that was less than convincing.
Besides, I'd think Rose would be better off dead than with Jack.

I agree with David on the whole one save slot thing. That was a royally annoying move on the designers part.

In the spirit of trying to find out if it's Jack (and get this thread back) I've started a new thread for us to debate on titled "Is Jack Back??". for anyone who wants to post ideas feal free...

Well you pretty much stated everything I thought they left out but to me it doesn't seem like there was as many real boss fights as there were in number one. It's like every time they introduced a opponent in the game they tried to pass them off as some kind of boss and that seemed to diminish the value of the real bosses. Like in number 1, you had Thunder, Whisper, Twinblade, Kraken, Jack, Dragon Jack, Guild Master, Nostro, Briar Rose, White Balverine, wasp queen, maze, etc. These were all bosses because you only fought them once or on very rare occasions, not every time you entered a certain area. Every creature had it's own style of entrance, not like in Fable 2 where they turn every new creature into some big deal. Especially, when you can kill that creature in one hit. Also the variety of creatures seems to be smaller too, fighting the same opponents over and over again gets sort of boring after a while. And there doesn't seem to be as much variety of legendary weapons either.

There are multiple save slots. It freaked me out when i tried it, but I made another character and saved. Then I went back to the main screen and to load games, and it showed both of my characters. They could have used a more obvious system, but there are indeed multiple save slots.

Ya I know that,

I'm talking about how in fable 1 there were multiple save slots within each character

multiple saves for each character in case you want to be able to try things differently and like your character. rather then having to make a new guy play up to the point and try the other thing. I always have 3-5 saves per character. What happens when 1 save becomes currupt? Well in fable II you have to start over from the beginning. In fable I you could at least back track to one of your other saves and move on.

Armour, But it looks like armor is coming out with the first batch of DLC.

I agree more legendary weapons.

I'd like to see Furniture that you can buy like Armor stands that you can place in a house and set up a suit of armor on. Weapons stands for each flavor of weapon.

More in general carry over locals. I could have sworn you ran through Burned up oakvale at some point. Whats left of the Guild house is tiny. Bowerstone is expanded and redesigned. Other then that(admittedly been over a year since I played Fable I TLC) I can't remember the names of old zones.

You're correct, in Wraithmarsh there are the remains of oakvale and Barrow Fields. Most of the guild was burned down and as i can imagine the people of Albion probably removed the remains to make room for other constructions.

Ah, I see now. Should have read more carefully. That is rather odd how they did that. What I did is Made a mental note, or wrote something down to remember important parts of the game, and saved prior to that part. Then if something happened that I didn't want to, or something along those lines, I'd reload. Thats the only way I've found to do it, and it is a rather crude way of doing things compared to the multiple save slots option.

I also miss the mini map and the clock that gave u an aprox. time, it would've been very useful at the temples! I also miss lookout point but that's probably underground by now

Oakvale would've been a great Addition. You could've dug up the dirt on the Raid On Oakvale. Or on the main character you played in the first one. You could do Quests for Twinblade, as an old man of course. But he could give you imformation on Theresa every time you do him a favour, he should know she was in his camp. The Hero's Guild was also a Miss. It's not the same without the Guildmaster e.t.c. Not the broken hall which used to be 'The Hall of Fate' And I wish there could be more Hero involvement. Your basicly the only true Hero. ;)

I get why they didn't use Twinblade/the Guild Master, in Fable 1 you had the oppertunity to kill them both, but hey if you can bring Ladie Grey back to life...

The game folows as you being a good character. Example: The Guildmaster WASN'T killed because you would do it as an evil character. The same wth Twinblade, so Lionhead Studios kicked out characters from the first fable, for no reason. :D
