I just received two copies of Arcanum. I've been looking forward to playing this game for a long time. However, the games I've received are the German versions.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to replace the German language element with English - I don't speak German. Perhaps replace a language file if one exists or something.

Could anyone be kind enough to point the way towards a possible solution ?

Afraid not. Try to get one of the people who gave you a copy to take it back and give you a store credit, instead, or better still, a some money you can use to buy it on the Web for a secondhand source, such as Amazon. I don't know about your nation of origin, but in the US, you can get the full boxed copy for $10.
