I've completed the WSG a while ago and have been exploring the wilderness for new sites. I was heading west from Oasis towards the satallite relay towers and right at the top edge of the map discovered a Wastelander. I enganged him in dialog and he replied "Get your own book". I asked what book he meant and he replied "Why, the Wasteland Survivor's Guide, of course". Said it was indispensible and that with its help he was able to survive out there and feed his family twice a day now. Thought that was neat. Has anyone else encountered Wastelanders with "the Book" ?

I have several. One even matching your discription exactly. Although in a different location I think I was near Evergreen Mills west of there in a rockie area I could be wrong could have been over by Fort Constantine But I don't remember exactly since I keep running into people talking about how much the Book helped them and saved their families lives. I've even received caps and praise from folks I think I got some stimpaks from one fellow.
