Installing full version of torment from virtual CD's

I'm using a program called Virtual Drive 9 from Farstone and have the full 4 CD ROM set. Of which, I have made 4 virtual CD's.

I am using a Dell Inspiron 1520 with built in on board video, everest says under video, windows display device description: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family. And as I've already on my system and other people's system's there are problems with the screen being blurry.

I have wanted to fully install the game with the CD's, but I don't have the physical CD's right now. Virtual Drive makes Virtual CD's called .VCD files. Is there a way I can fully install the game this way, that I can someone copy the content of a CD so I can do the full installation? I want to do this so I can then use the MOD to modify the resolution,

But.........will this even make any difference? If I change res's can it somehow get rid of the blurryness?

Well, if you have copies of the CDs, would it be possible for you to burn them to blank CDs? I'm not quite sure how the .VCD format works or if that's exactly what you did, but if it just made copies, then they should be burnable to blanks. If they were copied to .iso format, you might be able to mount them onto a virtual drive, but since it doesn't sound like they're the right format for that, don't bother.

The 'blurry' issue sounds like its a problem with your video card, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean. The PS:T in-game graphics are blurry, or your computer's graphics in general?

To make full installation, get a software that recognizes .VCD files. Mount the cd's one at time, starting from first cd, and each time the installation software just mount the cd asked. Works like a charm.

Note: I don't mentione or link any programs suitable for doing this as they can also been used for installing and playing piraced games, which is illegal topic here.

Well, it's kind of a non-issue now, I live about an hour away from where I stay on weekends, I just decided after work to pick it up. I'd have to look into converting .VCD files to ISO's or whatever the format the game CD's are on.
