What did you think of the movie(HPatPS) and after you read the book, so its done like this:
I read the book then saw Harry potter and the pholosiphers stone the movie and thought, They caught to much out and changed it FAR FAR to much 1 theirs not ment to be the girls on the sytherin team 2 and the quiditch was messed up too!!! in the end harry nearly swolows the snitch and quirel stops doing the jynx, the book he keeps on doing the jynx and harry jumps to grab it go of balance and falls, many others too

IMHO, Harry Potter was good. Sure, they cut stuff out. But I think they did quite well for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

I believe you have a point Gaxx, there was much too much in the books for it to be put on screen to make it a viable direct transfer from book to screen.

2 hrs 45 !! what i can't beleive it was that long!! no way it could only have been 30-60 miniutes!!
