Quest Help please - SPOILER!

Post by leebishop82 »

Hi all,

First post so any help would be appreciated.

I'm currently doing the quest "You gotta shoot em in the head" and through a pretty bizarre serious of events i have killed Mister Cowley and as i helped the ghouls into tenpenny tower by persuading all the residents to agree, they kill tenpenny and all the other human residents.

However it still comes up on my quest screen to "Receive your reward from Alistair Tenpenny" and guides me to his usual space on the balcony.

However as he's dead he's obviously not there, and i've killed Cowley so can't get a reward off him.....have i caused a glitch in the game???

I've talked to the ghouls about the bodies in the basement, and been back to Mister Cowley corpse incase i missed anything and nowt.

Ta

I don't suppose Tenpenny's corpse is anywhere to be found? You could resurrect him using the console. If not maybe you could try spawning him, but I don't know exactly how to do that. But yeah, sounds like you've caused a glitch. It's a problem with the game, in that you can kill people you need but it doesn't seem to register in any quests.
You can't spell success without whatever the hell my name is!

Thanks for the reply

The console.....i'm not that far/know what that means and spawning.....no idea yet. I guess i'll just leave it but i can't find his corpse anyway, maybe i'll wait and see if something else i do later in the game effects the quest.

I might e-mail the fallout 3 team anyway, though doubt i'll get a reply.
