Weihnachten beim Kloster

OK, so I figured I'm open up the ol' monastary for a little Christmas fun. (Read this is a 'bar thread.') Sorry the place is a little spartan, but we monks don't go much in for material comfort. However, the beer is the best in the world, and you can bring in whatever assorted furniture and accoutrements you like.

Also, I would like to announce this as the official gift exchange. Drop your friend a gift here. I'll start:

For Aegis: a fish, a toga, and a cookie. Enjoy!

For Fas: a new sheesha, and an entry pass to the Dark Flame thread.

For Sailor Saturn: it is my understanding you like Anime. I think its terrible. So, for you, some REAL cartoons: Scooby Doo, and Bugs Bunny DVDs. (The Scooby Doo episode is the best one: the one where they meet the Adams Family!)

For Georgi: Hmmm...it goes against my brewers instinct, but I understand you like the hard stuff: a bottle of Skyy vodka - ?

Ned Flanders: from what I have read in the "Auditions" thread - here, take this pair of pants, and USE it. Please!

Weasel: well, I built him a damn Temple, and he didn't show  so I'm stumped. I'll take suggestions...

Anyway, you get the idea. Enjoy! Happy Holidays! :)

Did someone say bar thread? :D

Wow :o Thanks for the vodka, DM *Xmas hug and kiss* ;) Do you have any mixers back there? *unscrews the top*

Oh, and here... I figured you could probably use some new robes, the ones you're wearing are centuries old, after all... ;) :D

Ah, what's a little nudity between friends! Oh, and sorry I don't have an electric mixer, but I can certainly get you a shaker ... maybe I should put my new robes on before I do any shaking, though! ;)

I meant as in drinks to mix with the vodka... ;) Ummm, yeah, I think that might be a good plan... :D

Hi Georgi, I brought tomato, orange and cranberry juice. Shall you and I have a drink? ;)

OH! See, mixed drinks are a little out of my league ... how about a Colorado Bulldog: Vodka, Kaluha, cream, and a shot of cola - ? That is as tough as I get - my old bartender used to call them "chocolate choo-choos!" He didn't seem to think they packed enough of a punch.

@Aleldar: nothin' ... did you bring a gift, or are you here just to look at the naked monk?

Hey Der! Been awhile...

Thanks for the gifts!

I got nothing for you... but, I can give you a free copy of "Missionary Impossible" :D

@Aegis: nothing for me? :( "Missionary Impossible?" Hmmmmm. I think I'll wait for the reviews to come out on that one before I take a peek.

Here, have a beer anyway, ya cheapskate! ;)

I brought a case of Guinness and a case of Grey Goose Vodka. Is that enough?? :D

Guiness! Someone said Guiness!

Thats it!

TO-GA PAR-TAY

:D

@Aleldar: you should know that this monstary is in fact a Paulaner (beer) brewery! So, you're kinda cutting into my business by bringing in Guinness. Still the big G is a good beer, so come on in. ;)

Now this Grey Goose stuff - that isn't French, is it? I'm, uh, GERMAN, and my tolerance for anything French is pretty low.

What about Finlandia or Ketel vodka? :)

Sounds good... :D

@Aleldar sorry, I have a better offer :D

@Aegis any excuse for a toga party... ;)

@Aegis: toga party? Heck look around, man - we're monks! We're already wearing loose-fitting robes! :D

1. I'm not a monk! :p
2. Togas aren't always loose-fitting, you know, not when they're made of lycra :D I would show you what I mean but I haven't seen my toga since Nael stole it months ago... :(

That's okay, Georgi just broke my heart. So I'm going back to Italy. :(

@Georgi: Smirnoff? Maybe ... Russians did invent the stuff, after all!

Lycra togas? *shudder!!* I think I'll stick with my monk's habit, thank you! :p

@all: any other gift ideas? We should get something nice for Buck! Hey! do you think Buck Santa will show up soon?! :)
