While fighting the beast, Abigail is killed. Will this effect me later in the game. Is it necessary that she stay alive or not??

She'll just get right back up after the fight; No harm (should be) done, in the long run.

Chapter II, I just started it and I'm at the Bear Inn. I can't get Bruys to play poker dice. He just wants to sleep. Is that because I can only play him at night or is it something else??

Yes, I knew of the prerequisite but I must have missed one player. I thought i had played them all. Now, I won't be able to complete the quest because I can't get back to Chapter I and finish it, right??

Anyway in Chapter II, I can't get Coleman to give me the quest "The Rat". I let the guy (?) keep his goods in Chapter I.

I was wondering .... if I had stored my meteorite stones on the Inn Keeper in Chapter I, would they have been made available to me at the Inn in Chapter II at the Bear Inn??

Stuff in the inns stays there until the end of forever.
You can play Carmen as a Novice if you need to.

Carmen's the prostitute that hangs out in the streets near the inn in Ch. 2.
